Reiki, The Art of Healing

Eastern medical philosophy has always emphasized the
superiority of maintaining good health over curing
illness. Reiki is a preventive medicine par excellence.
But it is even more: When practising Reiki on yourself or
others, you experience both its preventive and its
curative functions at the same time. If you have
a disease, Reiki will cure it, if not, Reiki will promote
your health and longevity. This preventive cum
curative quality of Reiki makes it a unique healing
It is natural to be healthy
It is only when certain parts of our bodies fail to
function naturally that sickness occurs. The causes may
be from bacteria and viruses, organic (toxins) or

often restless, irritable or extremely forgetful, cannot
concentrate or sleep soundly, and has no zest for work
or play.
How does Reiki promote health
First, it frees us from disease; it prevents as well
as cures illness. Then it helps us to grow emotionally,
mentally and spiritually, giving us the wonderful benefits
of health in its wider sense. The preventive and curative
qualities of Reiki can be reduced to two simple
principles: the cleansing of meridians and balancing of
the chakras to achieve a harmonious energy flow.
How does Reiki prevent or cure contagious
When disease-causing micro-organisms attack certain
parts of the body, reserve energy is channelled to
meet these attacks. But if the meridians are
blocked, then the flow of reserve energy is
hindered, and illness results. When using Reiki you
cleanse the meridians, harmonizing energy levels
and promote a smooth flow of reserve energy to the
areas under attack, thus restoring the balance.
Practising Reiki increases our reserves of energy,
thus preventing any possible future outbreak of illness.
One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefits is
stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the
bodies natural healing abilities, and improves and
maintains health. Reiki healing is a natural therapy that
gently balances life energies and brings health and well
being to the recipient.
This simple, non-invasive healing system works with the
Higher Self of the Receiver to promote health and well
being of the entire physical, emotional and psychic body.
Therefore it is truly a system of attaining and promoting
wholeness of Mind, Body and Spirit.
Reiki is a specific type of subtle energy work in which
healing is performed by the touch of the hands, allowing
the flow of the energy from a limitless source (God
Force) to the patient via the Reiki practitioner. It is
extremely powerful, yet gentle energy that can be easily
channelled to yourself and others, just by intention.
Reiki healing is a pure energy form. When it is combined
with the sincere Desire of the Healee, who is willing to
effect a cleansing within their emotional and spiritual
consciousness, a total healing can occur.

The Principles of Reiki

These principles were introduced by Usui Sensei and taught to his students as their first spiritual teachings and were to be followed and be a guide in his/her life. By practicing these principles one would embark on the path of self healing. Personally I do not consider them mandatory with the use of Reiki. These principles are worth a thought and certainly thay can be a guide in life. What does it mean? "Be kind to others" also means take good care of yourself, there is no difference between self and others in a universal dimension. Do gassho and repeat them in the mind at the beginning and the end of each day. This practice starts at the beginning and end of each day by reciting these Principles. Foot note: You will find many versions or translations of Dr Usui's Ideals. Personally I feel that this version of the Reiki Ideals comes very close to the essence of what Usui Sensei wanted to teach.

What Does Reiki Do to Heal a Person

Reiki energy makes direct contact with and stimulates your Inner Healer, that part of your Self that knows exactly what you need to be healthy in every way. Because it's guided by Spirit, Reiki is rooted in Love, has Divine intelligence and is always gentle, always helpful. Reiki works to heal and harmonize all the energy systems in all of your bodies (spiritual, mental, emotional and physical)! Reiki goes to the root of whatever most needs healing at the time of it's application, and the root may lie in any one of those 'bodies'. (Note that allergies and asthma, to name
but two physical conditions, are known to be caused by the
emotions.) When you take medication or undergo surgery, those things aren't, in themselves, responsible for your recovery! I'm reminded of a recent conversation with a general surgeon from Ohio: Many times he's experienced two patients with the same medical problem who underwent the same surgeries and treatments, but one lived and the other did not. Scientifically he had no explanation for that. It's understandable when we grasp the idea that, advanced as medical science has become, if the root of the physical problem lies in one of the other 'bodies', medical intervention might not be enough of a remedy. Some people come for a Reiki 'tune up', which leaves you feeling peaceful, relaxed and better able to manage life in general. Another person might come asking for help with a particular problem, let's say with their heart. In this instance their physical condition relates to the heart chakra which contains our love, loss, grief and forgiveness issues (to name a few). In this case, the energy will go to the root of what is causing the heart condition, and begin to heal the client at the root level. With heart issues, it's common during a session for the client to recall a painful life experience. Entirely guided by Spirit, the memory is gently processed then reintegrated with a more objective perspective, effecting great relief and a 'healing' of that memory!

How Does Reiki Work? We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. Reiki is a Tibetan form of Energy Healing, rediscovered
and promoted by Sensei Mikao Usui of Gifu, Japan.
REI - Universal Spiritual Consciousness, or Spiritually
Guided Consciousness
KI - Life Force Energy. In Sanskrit it's known as Prana,
in Chinese as Chi.
Translated, the meaning of Reiki is therefore:
'Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy'.

this word of caution: If your spiritual, mental and
emotional bodies aren't cleared of the root of the
problem, it will LIKELY recur, either as the same
condition, or something else in your body. Be aware of

Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to
the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on
during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows
the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force

During a meditation several years after developing Reiki,
Dr. Usui decided to add the Reiki Ideals to the practice of
Reiki. The Ideals came in part from the five prinicples of
the Meiji emperor of Japan whom Dr. Usui admired. The
Ideals were developed to add spiritual balance to Usui
Reiki. Their purpose is to help people realize that healing
the spirit by consciously deciding to improve oneself is a
necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for
the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client
must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an
active part in it. Therefore, the Usui system of Reiki is
more than the use of the Reiki energy. It must also include
an active commitment to improve oneself in order for it to
be a complete system. The ideals are both guidelines for
living a gracious life and virtues worthy of practice for their
inherent value.

Simple Healing by Reiki ( The Energy of Universe )

Healing: (this format is used for all the different types of Reiki used in this manual
except where stated so please learn it now). Here are some simple instructions for how to heal a person:
1. Lay your hands on the receiver’s shoulders.
2. Clear your thoughts and think to yourself “Reiki” to start the energy flow. Just let the
energy flow. You don’t have to concentrate on keeping the energy flowing, it will flow
freely of its own accord…just relax and enjoy the energy.
3. When 3-5 minutes have passed you will feel the energy stop, or you may feel a little tired
or drained.
That means that healing is complete. The healing energy will however, continue to work in
the receiver.
In this way the receiver will always receive the correct healing that they need, no matter how
severe or insignificant the ailment may be.
Remember that the energy will always flow to where it is needed. Here is an analogy to help
you understand how it works:
If you threw a bucket of water (the water symbolizing the energy) onto a path filled with
potholes, what happens? The water gathers in the potholes. You don’t need to go to each
individual hole and fill them all one by one; the water will run into the holes of its own
This is how energy works. Get the energy flowing, and it will gather in the places it is
needed of its own accord. Here are the instructions for remote, long distance and self healing:
1. Visualize the receiver, or the receiver’s name or names in the palm of your hand (if you
prefer try writing the names on a piece of paper and hold between your hands). Then place
your palms together.
2. Clear your thoughts and think to yourself “Reiki” to start the energy flow. Just let the
energy flow. You don’t have to concentrate on keeping the energy flow coming in, it will
flow freely of its own accord…just relax and enjoy the energy.
3. When 3-5 minutes have passed (this can vary from person to person) you will feel the
energy stop, or you may feel a little tired or drained. That means that you are finished.
The healing energy will however, continue to work in the receiver.
This is the same method that should be used for self-healing. It is a good idea to perform a
self-healing every day.
3. Cleansing a room/house
It is simple to cleanse a room/house of negative energies. You should use the remote, long
distance method, but instead of thinking of a name you should instead think about the specific
room/house e.g. ”Claire’s room/house” etc, and start the energy flow. This usually lasts 3-5

Remember, it is not important how precisely you visualize the object in your palm; the
intention to heal the object is enough to get the energy flowing to the right place. 
4. Healing the Karmic band
There is always a karmic band between those we hold closest and ourselves, or those we have
once held close. These bands can sometimes weigh us down and have negative influences on
our physical body parts and energy.
Very often relationships grow stronger when healing the karmic band. You should use this
type of healing between yourself and those you hold dear, or have once held dear. For this
you should use the remote, long distance healing technique.
If you, for example, wish to improve the relationship between yourself and your mother, you
should write “my relationship with my mother” with your finger in the palm of your hand.
Place your palms together and start the energy flow.
If you are healing a relationship for someone else, then you should write “Robert’s
relationship with his mother” and start the energy flow. This method should be used in both
near and long distance situations.
This procedure usually lasts 3-5 minutes, but don’t be surprised if it sometimes takes a little

You can also help heal a situation or a personal quality/character trait.
Try for example, to heal jealousy, nervousness, anxiety, toothache, patience, sorrow, anger,
improving communication, your singing voice, etc. Then write or think e.g. “My anger”,
“my communication”, or for someone else “Kurt’s toothache”.
Remember that it should always “feel right” when you start a healing procedure.
There are actually some things that aren’t supposed to be tampered with, but you will be able
to distinguish what should be healed and what should be left alone.
Healing can also be used on animals and plants.

Solution For Man Who Have a Kundalini Syndrome

A person who has, or has had problems with wrong Kundalini awakening, or other problems
with the Kundalini energy, can most often be helped with Kundalini Reiki.
All who are interested in learning Kundalini Reiki must begin with Kundalini Reiki 1, even
though you may have attunements from other systems.
I received this manual as separate parts i.e. K1, K2, K3, G1,G2 etc, but I generally give it out
as a continual attunement, as I believe this is the proper way to receive it.
I have combined all the elements into one manual, for ease of use.
You will also find recommendations/guidelines in this manual, these are not set in stone and
with time and experience with the energy you will find the most appropriate way of doing
things that suits you and the people you are working with.
When receiving these attunements please sit in a comfortable chair and place your arms either
on the arms of the chair or one on each thigh with your palms facing upwards.
With Kundalini 1 and 2 attunements close your eyes and request your guides and master
Kuthumi oversee the attunement and call them in.
You do not have to do anything else but relax and enjoy the experience, which will last
between 20 – 30 minutes, you will either feel it come to an end or you might fall asleep
during the attunement and wake up later, which is not a problem.
After Kundalini Reiki attunement level 2, please do the Kundalini meditation and balance
prior to calling in the attunement.
Everyone’s attunement experience is different some feel nothing others feel a lot and some
see things as well, your attunement will be what is right for you.
It is quite normal to feel a lot of energy in your hands and legs with the Kundalini Reiki
attunements which often increases as you progress through the levels, if you don’t then please
do not worry it might take a little longer for you to start sensing the energy but it will come

This is possibly the simplest form of healing and self-development system that exists!
By opening and strengthening the energy channels of the body, it is possible to channel
healing Reiki energy to yourself and others, just by intention. What is Kundalini?

Mengenal Gelombang Epsilon

Para peneliti telah melakukan penelitian untuk melihat hubungan antara frekuensi gelombang otak dengan kondisi aktifitas otak, meditasi, kebahagiaan, dan inspirasi. Sebelum gelombang Epsilon ditemukan olehDr. Jeffrey D. Thompson, D.C., B.F.A ., dari Neuroacoustic research, para peneliti gelombang otak telah menemukan gelombang Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, dan Gamma. Gelombang Delta mempunyai frekuensi yang paling rendah, yaitu 1 Hz ~ 4 Hz. Disusul oleh gelombang Theta dengan frekuensi 4 Hz ~ 7 Hz, gelombang Alpha 8 ~ 12 Hz, gelombang Beta 12 ~ 19 Hz, dan gelombang Gamma di atas 19 Hz ~ 70 Hz.

Gelombang Epsilon yang terakhir ditemukan mempunyai mempunyai frekuensi sangat rendah dan lebih rendah dari gelombang Delta, yaitu ½ Hz atau lebih rendah. Menurut hasil penelitian tersebut, pengaruh gelombang Epsilon pada otak mempunyai korelasi dengan:

Kesimpulannya, semakin rendah frekuensi otak akan membuat pikiran menjadi semakin tenang, semakin hening, semakin inspiratif, dan semakin bahagia.
Gelombang Epsilon dan Frekuensi Sehat yang Ideal untuk Otak:

Dari analisa energi 5 Elemen, batas frekuensi sehat untuk otak adalah 1 Hz. Di atas 1 Hz, otak akan mengalami stres. Semakin tinggi frekuensinya, orang akan semakin stress. Hal ini dapat dimengerti bila kita memahami frekuensi sehat pada masing-masing elemen.

Hal ini berarti, semakin rendah frekuensi otak, otak akan menjadi semakin hening, stres hilang, kita menjadi semakin bahagia, dan inspirasi serta ide yang kita peroleh, kualitasnya akan semakin baik pula.

Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar di Sekolah Dasar

Hadiah akan memacu semangat mereka untuk bisa belajar lebih giat lagi. Berikan hadiah untuk siswa yang berprestasi. Di samping itu, siswa yang belum berprestasi akan termotivasi untuk bisa mengejar siswa yang berprestasi.
Siswa yang berprestasi sudah sewajarnya untuk diberikan penghargaan atau pujian. Pujian yang diberikan bersifat membangun. Dengan pujian siswa akan lebih termotivasi untuk mendapatkan prestasi yang lebih baik lagi.
Membantu kesulitan peserta didik dengan cara memperhatikan proses dan hasil belajarnya.  Dalam proses belajar terdapat beberap unsur antara lain yaitu penggunaan metode untuk mennyampaikan materi kepada para siswa. Metode yang menarik yaitu dengan gambar dan tulisan warna-warni akan menarik siswa untuk  mencatat dan  mempelajari materi yang telah disampaikan.
Meningkatkan motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang variasi. Metode yang bervariasi akan sangat membantu dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Dengan adanya metode yang baru akan mempermudah guru untuk menyampaikan materi pada siswa.
Strateginya adalah dengan memberikan perhatian maksimal ke peserta didik. Selain itu, guru juga dapat membuat siswa tertarik dengan materi yang disampaikan dengan cara menggunakan metode yang menarik dan mudah dimengerti siswa.
Cara meningkatkan motivasi belajar dengan memberikan hukuman. Hukuman akan diberikan kepada siswa yang berbuat kesalahan saat proses belajar mengajar. Hukuman ini diberikan dengan harapan agar siswa tersebut mau merubah diri dan berusaha memacu motivasi belajarnya. Bentuk hukuman yang diberikan kepada siswa adalah hukuman yang bersifat mendidik seperti mencari artikel, mengarang dan lain sebagainya.
Guru berusaha mengadakan persaingan di antara siswanya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya, berusaha memperbaiki hasil prestasi yang telah dicapai sebelumnya.
Angka dalam hal ini sebagai simbol dari nilai kegiatan belajarnya. Banyak siswa yang justru untuk mencapai angka/nilai yang baik. Sehingga yang dikejar hanyalah nilai ulangan atau nilai raport yang baik. Angka-angka yang baik itu bagi para siswa merupakan motivasi belajar yang sangat kuat. Yang perlu diingat oleh guru, bahwa pencapaian angka-angka tersebut belum merupakan hasil belajar yang sejati dan bermakna. Harapannya angka-angka tersebut dikaitkan dengan nilai afeksinya bukan sekedar kognitifnya saja.
Menumbuhkan kesadaran kepada siswa agar merasakan pentingnya tugas dan menerimanya sebagai tantangan sehingga bekerja keras adalah sebagai salah satu bentuk motivasi yang cukup penting. Bentuk kerja keras siswa dapat terlibat secara kognitif yaitu dengan mencari cara untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi.
Mengetahui hasil belajar bisa dijadikan sebagai alat motivasi belajar anak. Dengan mengetahui hasil belajarnya, siswa akan terdorong untuk belajar lebih giat. Apalagi jika hasil belajar itu mengalami kemajuan, siswa pasti akan berusaha mempertahankannya atau bahkan termotivasi untuk dapat meningkatkannya.

Pergaulan juga menjadi faktor siswa bisa malas belajar. Seperti kata orang, kalau bergaul dengan pedagang bawang ikut bau bawang, kalau bergaul dengan pedagang minyak wangi ikut bau wangi. Sikap seseorang dapat dipengaruhi oleh dengan siapa ia bergaul. Kalau bergaul dengan teman-teman yang malas belajar, siswa juga bisa terpengaruh sehingga dapat menyebabkan siswa malas belajar. Apalagi saat mau belajar, ada teman yang mengajak keluar, baik untuk bermain maupun berjalan-jalan. Oleh karena itu, sangatlah penting bagi siswa untuk memilih pergaulan yang tidak berdampak buruk bagi dirinya.
Peran orang tua juga dapat memengaruhi aktivitas belajar siswa. Orang tua yang tidak menegur ketika anaknya malas belajar, dapat membuat anak tersebut malas belajar. Mereka lebih santai karena tidak ditegur saat tidak belajar. Namun, ada kalanya anak yang sudah ditegur juga tetap malas belajar. Mungkin karena faktor yang lain.

Seorang siswa bisa malas belajar karena punya teman yang lebih pintar darinya untuk diandalkan, baik untuk mengerjakan PR, maupun saat mengerjakan soal ulangan. Siswa yang seperti ini biasanya mengharapkan sontekan agar mendapatkan nilai yang tinggi atau setidaknya mencapai KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal). Berbagai upaya dapat dilakukan agar mendapatkan sontekan.
Ada yang mengancam dan ada juga yang memelas agar temannya mau memberikan sontekan. Bukannya bertanya mengenai materi pelajaran yang sulit sebelum ulangan, tapi malah meminta agar temannya memberi sontekan. Dengan begitu, siswa yang tidak belajar pun bisa mendapatkan nilai yang baik, bahkan bisa lebih tinggi dari yang memberi sontekan.
Akhirnya timbul persepsi tak harus belajar untuk mendapatkan nilai yang baik dan timbul budaya malas. Siswa yang rajin harus belajar sungguh-sungguh untuk mendapatkan nilai yang baik, tetapi siswa yang malas besantai-santai saja. Itulah ironisnya dunia pendidikan di Indonesia.
Acara televisi juga bisa membuat siswa menjadi malas belajar. Adanya acara-acara TV yang menarik pada jam-jam belajar bisa menggoda siswa untuk menonton acara tersebut. Takut tidak bisa menonton acara tersebut, siswa bisa memilih menonton acara TV daripada beajar. Acara TV seperti itu bukan tayang setiap minggu, melainkan ada setiap hari. Contohnya adalah sinetron, yang ceritanya dibolak-balik tapi mampu memikat perhatian penonton.
Siswa ada yang malas belajar secara keseluruhan dan adan juga yang malas belajar terhadap mata pelajaran tertentu saja. Biasanya mereka paling malas untuk belajar mata pelajaran yang mengandung kegiatan berhitung, seperti matematika. Padahal pelajaran tersebut sangat penting. Matematika merupakan pelajaran penting. Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran dengan jumlah jam yang banyak dalam seminggu. Namun, banyak siswa yang kurang minat terhadap mata pelajaran matematika.

Terlalu banyak bermain juga dapat menumbuhkan sikap malas dalam belajar. Misalnya seorang siswa selepas pulang dari sekolah bermain sampai sore. Tiba waktu malam mau belajar terasa lelah dan mengantuk. Akibatnya siswa tersebut lebih memilih kegiatan lain daripada belajar, seperti menonton televisi, atau lainnya. Selain itu, bisa juga siswa menggunakan waktu belajar sebagai waktu bermain. Bukannya bermain itu dilarang, tetapi siswa harus membagi waktu antara bermain dan belajar.

Kajian Ruang Lingkup Pembelajaran Tematik Sekolah Dasar

Peningkatan mutu pendidikan tidak bisa lepas dari upaya para pendidik tenaga kependidikn di Indonesia
dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia yang beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia serta menguasai ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni dalam mewujudkan masyarakat yang maju, adil, makmur dan beradab berdasarkan Pancasila dan Undang-Undang dasar 1945 Negara Republik

Indonesia telah dicanangkan dalam rencana pembangunan nasional dalam bidang pendidikan. Untuk itu guru perlu beradaptasi dengan upaya pemerintah seiring dengan telah ditetapkannya Peraturan Menteri nomor 22 terntang Standar Isi yang memuat Standar Kompetensi, Kompetensi Dasar bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar. Guru dalam tugas pokok dan fungsinya mempunyai peran, fungsi dan kedudukan yang sangat strategis dalam pembangunan nasional di bidang pendidikan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan peningkatan mutu guru secara terencana, terarah dan berkesinambungan, agar guru dapat melaksanakan perannya sebagai tenaga fungsional yang mampu menghadapi tantangan sesuai dengan tuntutan perubahan kehidupan lokal, nasional dan global.

Kedudukan guru sebagai tenaga profesional bertujuan untuk melaksanakan sistem pendidikan nasional dan
mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional, yaitu berkembangnya potensi anak didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, serta menjadi warga negara yang demokratis dan bertanggung jawab.

Sebagai tenaga profesional, guru mempunyai tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik pada pendidikan usia dini jalur pendidikan formal, pendidikan dasar dan pendidikan menengah. Jabatan guru sebagai tenaga profesional memerlukan keahlian, kemahiran, atau kecakapan yang memenuhi standar mutu atau norma tertentu serta memerlukan pendidikan profesi. Guru sebagai tenaga profesional yang memiliki tugas dan fungsi mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa di bidang pendidikan bukan semata-mata suatu profesi melainkan juga merupakan suatu pengabdian. Dengan profesionalismenya guru diharapkan memiliki kemampuan membelajarkan materi kepada peserta didik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan pemerintah.

Guru juga di harapkan memiliki dedikasi atau komitmen terhadap pelaksanaan tugasnya dan perlu menyiapkan proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Pembelajaran pada satuan pendidikan diselenggarakan secara
interaktif, inspiratif, menyenangkan, menantang, memotivasi peserta didik untuk berpartisipasi aktif serta
memberikan ruang yang cukup bagi prakarsa, kreativitas, dan kemandirian sesuai dengan bakat, minat, dan
perkembangan fisik serta psikologis peserta didik.

Profesionalisme seorang guru menuntut dirinya untuk selalu memperbaiki dan menambah kompetensinya serta mempunyai kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan situasi dan kondisi ditempat tugasnya. Betapapun kemajuan ilmu dan teknologi di bidang pendidikan tidak akan dapat menggantikan fungsi guru secara utuh. Terlebih bagi siswa di kelas awal, dimana siswa yang masih duduk di kelas 1, 2, dan 3 masih benar-benar membutuhkan kehadiran seorang guru. Media pendidikan mungkin dapat melakukan transformasi pengetahuan dengan efektif, efisien, tetapi kehadiran seorang guru secara pribadi, dengan kasih sayangnya,
perhatian, sentuhan emosinya, kesabaran, kedisiplinan, keteladanan, tentu saja tidak dapat digantikan oleh sebuah teknologi. Sehingga tidaklah berlebihan jika dikatakan bahwa guru ditempatkan sebagai posisi sentral dalam mencapai keberhasilan pendidikan.

Pendekatan tematik yang akhir-akhir ini digulirkan dan telah disosialisasi, di lapangan memerlukan penjelasan yang cukup rinci. Apa, bagaimana membelajarkan model secara tematik akan dikupas di dalam salah satu makalah materi diklat yang akan diawali dari pengkajian ruang lingkup berbagai mata pelajaran. Kupasan atau kajian ini tetapi tentunya masih diperlukan motivasi, kontribusi dan adaptasi antara guru dan siswa setempat.

Karena suatu model pembelajaran sangat cocok dengan siswa A di kelas A belum tentu cocok  sama perlakuannya apabila disajikan untuk siswa B di tempat B. Hal ini masih diperlukan adaptasi-adaptasi pembelajaran, dan model pembelajaran yang disajikan tentulah sekedar pemberian wawasan bagaimana
membelajarkan tematik dimaksud dengan tetap memperhatikan kondisi siswa di tempat guru bertugas.
